1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using the GetBL.ai Service (operated by Bitmetric), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

GetBL.ai provides an API that extracts structured data from freight documents including Bills of Lading, Commercial Invoices, Air Waybills, and related documents using artificial intelligence. The Service is provided on a subscription basis with usage tiers.

3. Account Registration

• You must provide accurate and complete registration information.
• You must verify your email address to activate API access.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your API key and password.
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.
• Each account may only be used by one organisation. You may not share your API key with third parties outside your organisation.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any regulations.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or circumvent any part of the Service.
• Submit documents containing malicious code or content designed to harm our systems.
• Resell or sublicense access to the API without our express written consent.
• Exceed the usage limits associated with your subscription tier.
• Use automated scripts to artificially inflate usage metrics.

5. Subscription and Billing

• The Free tier is provided at no cost subject to monthly call limits.
• Paid tiers are billed monthly in advance through Stripe.
• Fees are non-refundable except where required by applicable law.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to registered users.
• Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination of your account.

6. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in the Service, including software, documentation, and trademarks, remain the property of Bitmetric. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our intellectual property except the limited licence to use the Service as described herein.

7. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. You retain ownership of any documents you submit to the API.

8. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or accuracy of extraction results. AI-generated outputs may contain errors and should be reviewed before use in commercial or legal contexts.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bitmetric's total liability for any claim arising from your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if you breach these Terms or if we reasonably believe your use poses a risk to our systems or other users. You may cancel your account at any time by contacting us.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Bitmetric is registered. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that jurisdiction.
